Objectives

During this activity:

Students shall create a blog and use it to introduce themselves to the rest of the group.

This activity helps students develop the following skills, values and attitudes: written communication and efficient use of informatics and telecommunications.

Activity Description

For this activity you will need a Google and a Facebook account.

Follow carefully these instructions:

Go to blogger.com and create a new personal blog exclusively for this course.

NOTE: You will be required to write several blog entries during the semester on different topics related to the course.
Write your first blog entry and introduce yourself to the rest of the group. Your entry should be in English. Things that you can write about include (but are not limited to):
- What you expect from the Compiler Design course.
- Your hobbies and/or personal interests.
- Books, music, movies, TV programs that you have recently enjoyed.
Publish your entry and share it in the Facebook group called «Compiler Design 201911».

Due date is Thursday, January 17.

Evaluation

This activity will be evaluated using the following criteria:

100	The blog entry meets all the requirements.
-10	The blog entry contains three or more grammar or spelling errors.
-30	The blog entry was published or shared after the due date.
-99	The blog entry is not in English.
